About John Bogert
|
John and his wife run a toy train business and attend, at least 24 train shows a year. He is very closely in touch with the marketplace and buys and sells trains on a daily basis.
You will often see 'Jack' at Train shows in NE PA, Northern New Jersey and in Connecticut in August in the home of American Flyer NEW HAVEN. You can find him trading on eBay under the ID of pajack. He loves finding Gilbert American Flyer pieces that need to be restored so he can keep the hobby of train collecting alive.

| A Personal Note From John |
|
Some people think because it is a toy that a toy train is not valuable. Here is something that can bring hours of enjoyment as well as some investment returns when you are done playing. For me the best is original Gilbert American Flyer "S" gauge.

| Lubricants |
| A very fine sewing machine oil is good but go to a clock repair shop and ask for their lubricating product for the best to lubricate and keep the joints clean |
